Drive. Explore. Play. A first-person boating game about the whole lake day, not just the boat. Saturday, 8am: the boat is on the trailer outside your house and the road runs down to Cedar Point ramp. The lot is slammed, other rigs are jackknifing, and Dana is behind your trailer telling you which way to turn — and which way she actually meant. THE RAMP. Back a real articulated trailer down lane 3. Reversing is unstable the way a trailer is unstable; a guide line shows where it will end up until you turn it off. Float the boat, park the truck, walk back down. DOCKING. Bring the boat alongside Courtesy Dock B with the wind on you, grab the dock, tie the bow line — only then does the family climb aboard with the coolers, the tube and the board. Every stop works the same way, and every docking gets a grade. THE LAKE. 25 places to discover: Party Cove, Turtle Island, the Narrows bridge, Jump Rock, the Sunken Quarry, a rope swing at Whispering Cove, Falls Creek, the old railway trestle, three marinas and a town. WATERSPORTS. A tube that whips and a rider who lets go if you overdo it. Kneeboard, ski, wakeboard, wakesurf — yourself with Dana driving, or send Sam out and watch him improve across days. THE WATER. Jump off the side. Dive for Priya's sunglasses. Swing off the rope. Step off the cliff. Fish at Quiet Cove. THE DAY. Weather rolls in, someone loses a flip-flop, the Millers are at Party Cove, fuel gets low. Head home at golden hour, back the trailer in, winch the boat on, drive out. THE LONG GAME. Days pay out XP and money. Buy a better boat. Buy the cabin, and tomorrow starts on your own dock with the boat already in the water. No ramp.
