About this world

Be the police. Solano Bay never stops. Patrol a living Southern California city as Unit 7 of the Solano Bay Police Department. Dispatch puts calls out over the radio: armed robberies, a bank job, stolen cars, street races, drunk drivers, purse snatchers, shoplifters and fights. And crime happens in front of you whether dispatch has seen it or not: speeders, red-light runners, drivers weaving across the lines. Light a car up and it pulls over. Walk up, run the plate, then cite, warn, arrest or let them go; arrest the wrong person and it costs you. Runners get chased. Ram them, spin them with a PIT, throw a spike strip in their path, or taser and tackle a suspect on foot. Cuff them, walk them to your car and book them at the precinct for the best pay. The patrol car, a police motorbike and the Air 1 helicopter all wait at the precinct. Other units cruise the city and join your pursuits; from the air you keep the suspect in your searchlight while they close in. Good police work earns points, cash and promotions from Officer to Captain. Hurting the public comes out of your pay. Work a day, evening or night shift, and watch the sun go down over the Pacific as the city lights up. Desktop: WASD to drive, E to interact, L lights, Q siren, Y or N to take or pass a call, 1 to 4 at a traffic stop, T taser, V tackle, G spike strip, M map, C camera, Esc to pause. In Air 1, Space climbs and Z descends. Controller and touch controls supported; on phones, turn sideways. Single-player. Original city, vehicles, characters and sound. No download required.
