Build your own ski resort on a big wild mountain, run it, then ride it.

You start with one chairlift and one run on a mountain covered in forest. Cut new runs down any slope you like (the steeper the slope, the harder the run), string up chairlifts, build a terrain park full of kickers, rails and boxes, and line your runs with snow guns.

Then run the place. Set the ticket and lunch prices, and hire (and fire) lift operators, ticket sellers, ski patrol, instructors, groomers, snowmakers and cooks. Hundreds of skiers and snowboarders queue, ride and carve your runs, and you watch how they feel about it. Powder days bring the crowds. Big storms bring avalanche danger, and your patrol has to bring the slopes down safely before the runs can open.

Grow it: floodlight runs for night skiing, put on torchlight parades, fireworks and race days, buy a helicopter for heli-skiing, and build a village with hotels, a mountain restaurant, an après bar, an ice rink and a tubing hill. Your trail map is painted fresh from the mountain itself.

Ride it all yourself on a snowboard or skis: hit the park for style points, race the giant slalom against the clock, drop off a summit into untracked powder, and invite friends to ski your mountain with you.
